As a professional translator, she recognized that she too wanted to assist people dealing with legal issues related to immigration. Fluent in Spanish, Ms. Englert is highly involved with the immigrant community, and volunteers with the Solana Beach Head Start program speaking to families regarding their immigration options. She has also spoken at the University of Oregon regarding deferred action and immigration reform issues.
